 Advanced Placement 

有教育背景和/或经验的学生选择在澳门皇家赌城在线学习课程，从而有资格获得注册护士执照，我们鼓励他们在计划过程的早期与护理顾问会面.  The Advanced Placement track applies to:

  • 目前在加利福尼亚州获得职业护士执照的申请人，
  • 从培训有执照职业护士的认可课程转学的申请人，
  • 申请人从一个经认证的培训计划转移到注册护士执照的个人.

先修课程的定义是进入澳门皇家赌城在线护理课程的第二学期或第三学期(护理课程转学或LVN申请人不被接受进入第四学期)。.

The Advanced Placement Candidate

Opportunities for Advanced Placement are based on available space. There are several admission options for advanced placement.  These vary depending upon the qualifications and needs of the applicant.

Option I:  寻求基于理论和临床能力评估测试的副学士护理(ADN)计划的高级安置的候选人(护理计划转移或LVN的选项).

Option II:   LVN seeking admission as a 30 unit option candidate.  30个单元的选择可能不被其他州认可，也不能获得护理副学士学位.

Advanced Placement Application Process

Advanced Placement Application Cycle:

每年接受两次申请:春季入学8月，秋季入学2月(见以下日期)

August 1st – August 31st (11:59pm PST) for Spring admission

February 1st – February 28th (11:59pm PST) for Fall admission

If the application due date(s) falls on a weekend or a holiday, applications will be accepted up through 5 pm on the next business day.

Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) must also submit:

  • Copy of current LVN license

**Effective August 1 – 31st 2023 application cycle for Spring 2024 admission)**

The Ventura College Nursing Program will utilize the first attempt on ATI TEAS 7 only for eligibility. 请注意，学生只允许参加两(2)次tea考试(ATI TEAS version 7)。.

30 Unit Option for the LVN must also submit:

  • TEAS testing is not required.

Transfer students from other nursing schools must also submit:

Readmission applicants must also submit:

  • ATI TEAS score; the current TEAS success score is 62% but is subject to change.

  • 如果澳门皇家赌城在线的学生没有通过护理科学V10(第一次), 如果需要补习课程，申请人必须重新申请护理专业. The student in this circumstance would not be eligible for reentry.

Denial of Admission:

  •  Space is unavailable

  • Applicant with an overall GPA <2.5 or science GPA < 2.5
  • Incomplete prerequisites or incomplete Advanced Placement application
